Ask the questions

I have been painting with great regularity for 18 months now, and I am still searching for that elusive “style”.

What I decided I need to do is ask more direct questions of myself.

• What Substrate? Paper or Wood?

• What medium? Acrylics or Oil and Cold Wax?

• Size? Rectangle or Square?

• Mark Making? What are my personal marks?

So there lies the basis of the experiment, these questions.

Six works. Three that are 18” X 18” and three that are 18” X 24”. Two on paper and four on a variety of panels.
